Donation of RM32,000 to four old folks’ homes in the state
Outstanding highlight during the Chinese New Year luncheon at THE TOP@Komtar, Penang, was when the Chief Executive Officer of Only World Group (OWG), Dato’ Sri Richard Koh presented a donation of RM32,000 to four old folks’ homes in the state, namely Peace & Harmony, Silver Jubilee Home for the Aged, Rumah Charis at Sungai Ara and Penang Home of the Infirm and Aged, via the recently established TOP4PG initiative. In introducing TOP4PG, Dato' Sri Koh said that it is dedicated to the people of Penang. "Through TOP4PG, we aim to do our part in taking care of the communities here in Penang and contributing toward the betterment of the state in general," he explained.
Charity Marathon Run
In an effort to promote “Good Living”, a charity marathon run was organized which successfully raised RM19,240. The funds raised net of expenses were donated to Persatuan Marathon Batu Pahat.
Kasih Foundation receives a sedan worth RM35,000
Kasih Foundation was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing palliative care services, living well projects and training education. Kasih foundation’s have just received a Perodua Axia which costs RM35,527.00 fully sponsored by Only World Group Holdings Berhad (“OWG”). The brand new car will be a very important standby vehicle for our medical staff to use so that their home visits to the patients will not be interrupted when their personal cars are temporarily off the roads for some reasons.
Charity Auction at Grand imperial at Komtar, Penang
The group in conjunction with the opening of “grand imperial” a Chinese fine dining restaurant in KOMTAR, Penang on 21st June 2016 held a charity auction which raised a sum of RM71,338. The Group topped up the amount to RM100,000 and donated the sum to the “Silver Jubilee Home for the Aged”.
Commitment to the community and organisations hosting of special children
The group shares the “FUN” with a group of special children by hosting them in our Wet World Batu Pahat. These children were treated to a day of stage shows, fun rides, interactive games, plenty of yummy food, face painting and many more fun activities.
Charity Event with Orphan Kids
Only World Group continue contributes to environmental and connect with community by doing Charity Event on 1st May 2017. Total 125 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ar-Rahmaniah, Selangor was invited to come and enjoy their time at Wet World Shah Alam.
